BOTTLE YOUR BURPS FOR GRANNY!

Bottle your burps,
keep them as new,
save them for later,
store them in goo!

Let them grow old,
let them grow mean,
let your big burps
turn nasty and green.

Watch as they rot,
wait as they worm,
watch their wild faces
starting to squirm.

Then, when they're ready,
then, when they're done,
be ready to have
some big-burping fun!

Just loosen the lid
and leave in the shade,
stick on a label -
call it marmalade.

Then wait for your granny
to call round for tea,
hide in a corner,
count up to three!

Sit really still,
watch from afar
as your old granny
opens that jar,

Then cover your ears,
wait for the sound
of an ear-bursting burp
rocking the ground

And as it comes,
stay in your place
as one giant burp
lands in her face,

Slipping and sliding
in green bits of goo,
frothing and foaming
like dead bits of stew.

But don't be amazed
if she then tries for a taste,
for grannies won't ever
let food go to waste!
