Meet Potty Poet...

Andrew Collett

Working undercover as a teacher for ten years, Andrew penned his first poetry collection, Always Eat Your Bogies And Other Rotten Rhymes, in 1998, with high hopes of promoting the reading of poetry through the use of humour. An instant hit with children and adults of all ages, poetry enthusiasts and reluctant readers alike have since been discovering how the 'Bogey Man' can make learning fun.

Inspired by this positive reaction Andrew brought out Bottling Burps for Grandma a year later, continuing in a similar vein. With more success and appreciative audiences under his belt a third collection, Dad's Exploding Underpants And Other Potty Poems, was unveiled to his throng of admirers in 2000, adding to his popularity and creating yet more demand for performances. Andrew's next collection, Electric Knickers: Potty Poems to Power Your Pants, provided further inspiration and entertainment for his fans. Who Flushed Granny Down the Toilet? And Other Nutty Nonsense (2002) continues Andrew's quest to make reading material accessible and, above all, FUN.
