Bottling Burps for Grandma

Andrew Collett

Following the huge success of his first poetry collection, Always Eat Your Bogies, Andrew continues in a similar vein staying true to his tradition of rotten rhyme writing.

About this book...

Burps can be bottled and nappies can be recycled: read this book and find out how. Andrew will also fill you in on many uses for ear wax (not all of them nice) and tell you the tale of "Ten Foot Terry". Read these poems and you'll never look at a dinosaur on the telly in the same way again, or go to the loo without first checking for "Colonel Reginald Blow Him Up Dan".

If you've ever wondered about teachers' tummy buttons, putrid pizzas, or whether headlice do handstands, this book is for you. If that doesn't appeal, how about your sister sharing the bath with a crocodile?

Every adjective, from 'amazing' to 'zany', has been applied to Andrew Collett's strangely warped poetry for children. Since the publication of his first full length collection, Always Eat Your Bogies, in 1998 (voted book of the year by his local branch of Waterstone's) he has appeared on Anglia Tv, local radio and at countless book signings up and down the country. Despite all this fame, however, he still remains an all-round 'good egg' and a regular sort of chap.
