Mad Monkeys

In a far off land where the trees are blue
the monkey's prefer the platform shoe,
usually pink ones, purple ones too,
but ALWAYS orange if their off to the zoo.
They also wear stockings, held up with glue,
but to take them off always makes them go boo hoo.
Their favourite food is fig and prune stew,
which means that they are always stuck on the loo.
They go everywhere on a bike made for two,
and their favourite song is coo coo ca choo.
They never get headaches, colds or the flu,
and they swig onion cocktails at a fancy dress do.
On Thursdays they form an orderly queue,
and each one receives some smelly green goo.
Quite what they use it for, I haven't a clue,
but I don't want to ask them, please, could you?
