The Injection
Today was the day of the injection!
My heart was pounding like mad,
I really hate having jabs
So I'll be glad
When it's all over and done with
The hairs on my neck are starting to prickle me,
The person in front is just going in
This jab was for Meningitis C!
I was having a tantrum
And I started to cry,
My mum tryed to calm me down
All the other people seemed fine!
I've always hated injections
Even seeing one gives me fright,
My stomach started to feel funny
It was a feeling that felt quite tight!
Last time I had an injection
It got infected and covered in dirt,
And d'you know what surprises me
It's the fact that the jab I just had didn't hurt!!!!
