WRITERS INTO EDUCATION

A winning poem!

Well done, Kirsty!

wet weather school days

here i have just left school
a splish and spalsh and then a pool
i fall in and feel a fool
a friend is there to pull me out
have no fear do not shout
soon i am out and go home alone
wet and mucky
and come on ducky shouts my mum
dry your hair and dry your bum!
the rains still pouring its also boring
mum and dad are in the kitchen doing the flooring
off to bed all snug and warm
the rains still pouring and soon be dawn
its time for school
there is no pool all dryed up and i think it is cool.
